Yesterday we went to the Outpost exhibit on Cockatoo Island (yes – that’s a real name!)
There was some amazing graffiti/street art on display.
On of the artists had a scale replicate of his childhood home reconstructed.
Fake grass included!
This was probably my favorite piece even though it’s small and simple.
I really liked it because
1) I LOVE ugly dogs and
2) We should probably ask ourselves that question every day.
Meanwhile, I’m going to get back to gallivanting around Sydney
Have a wonderful day!
Today I fly to Sydney to celebrate finishing exams with The Boy!
I hope your Monday is as lovely as mine!
While in Sydney we had a delicious vegan pie picnic with peach and pinapple virgin punch.
oh and we finally got to see Midnight in Paris. If you haven’t seen it. Go. Now.
P.S. Sorry about the terrible image quality. I’m suffering from some technical difficulties at the moment. But at some point I will sort it all out. Maybe after exams.
Yes, I have returned from Sydney alive and well.
Also – I now have a new ‘mixtape’ CD from The Boy, pictured below.
It was a great trip and I’m a bit devastated to have to return to rainy Melbourne to study for exams now.
Just a heads up that I’m flying to Sydney today and will be AWOL for a couple of days.
I’ll be missing you!
Before I went into hiding for new years the boy arrived from Sydney for some quality time.
I failed to document him but some of our activities made the cut
Taste D-Lite finally opened in Australia. So we popped in for some peanutbutter-oreo goodness.
On our way to the deliciousness we walked past this totally haunted house.
I know it’s hard to see but on the 2nd story balcony there’s a gorilla holding a woman by her ankle.
In honour of my friend’s housewarming a friend of mine made toffee apples – srsly awesome. For more of my escapades with this friend – see this.
Also work finished early today – so now I’m off to enjoy the rest of my weekend!
So the boy lives in Sydney and I live in Melbourne. It’s a bit of a poopy situation.
That’s why I flew up to his hometown over the weekend to visit.
As previously mentioned here it was a lovely trip.
Here are some pics of what made it especially lovely.
We went on a picnic.
And then we were happy.
